Mosaic Knitting
Mosaic knitting is another term for patterns made of slipped stitches. You will always work with just one color at a time.
On the right side, you alternate between knit stitches and slipped stitches (slipping
with yarn in back). On the wrong side, the previous knitted stitches are worked (either purled or knitted as the pattern calls for) and the previous slipped stitches are slipped again, this time wyif.
Patterns using this technique:
- Sliding Squares Wrap
- Gated Garden Wrap
